Saturday mornings are my favorite time of the week and today was extra wonderful. It is rare that I get to see all three of my adult sons in one day—this was one of those days!
Our oldest twin and middle son, Justin, is a morning person due to his banking job so he was up early with us to have a cup of coffee and await the arrival of his niece. I actually think seeing her was the most important part of his trip home. His visits are rare so we don’t like to waste time with things like sleeping! It took “Missy” Nora a while to figure out this was the “other” Uncle J.
Our oldest son, Ryan, came in for his usual Saturday-morning-commuter cup of coffee when he dropped sweet “Missy” Nora off for the day. He stayed a few minutes to chat with his brother before dashing off to his job.
Our youngest son (by one minute that his brother never lets him forget), Jordan, finally appeared from his bedroom searching for coffee and Nora. Then it was time to take off for the softball tournament that he and Justin are playing in today.
I enjoyed the rest of the morning by making bread from a new recipe found on Pinterest, picking roses and making a batch of Wine and Roses jelly (subject for a future post), watching the Olympics, playing with “Missy” Nora and sharing a cup of coffee with my hubby.
Counting my blessings and loving that God gifted me with a Heart 4 Home!
